FAQs: troubleshooting


The Reading Kingdom is designed to work on all computer platforms and browsers. However, sometimes you might experience an issue in using the program which could be due to a software problem. Below we have listed a few troubleshooting tips that will hopefully resolve the problem. Before doing any of the items below, reboot your computer. Follow the instructions carefully and do not have any other open programs or windows other than those required to complete the task.

Recommendations

  1. The easiest thing is to try downloading the latest Flash player which you can find here:

  2. Then clear your Flash cache as per the instructions here:

  3. If that does not work, then you can try installing a different browser. For instance, if you are using Internet Explorer, try Firefox. Here are some common browsers and their download locations:

    Internet Explorer: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie
    Safari: http://www.apple.com/safari/download/

  4. Once you have installed the new browser, install the latest Flash player for it.
