Requirements: Othello board game and 2 players
How to play: Play a black piece on the board so that a white piece is between two black. The white will be changed to black. The next player does the reverse.
How to win: You win when you have a majority of your colored pieces showing at the end of the game, turning over as many of your opponent’s pieces as possible.
Skills developed: develops the ability to think about space and patterns in space, a requirement for reading.
